You Need Administrator Permission To Delete This Folder (SOLVED)

Hello, I recently bought my laptop off of a dad whose child used it orginally and I cannot perform administrator actions.

There is only one account on the laptop and it appears to have administrator permissions when I go on control panel-change account type. On there, it actually says there's two accounts, my account and "Administrator", but both have administrator permissions.

I have tried using this. Right click on your User profile and select Properties. Click the Security tabunder Group or user names menuselect your user name and click on Edit. Select Advanced under Security tab.

Select your User profile under Permission entries and check on Editcustomize the permissions level and. Check the option Replace all child object permissions entries with inheritable permission entries from. Click on Apply and OK to save changes and check if the issue is resolved. But it already said I had full control on my user account. However, I still get the exact same message one would get if they weren't an administrator, saying "You need permission to perform this action".

I am entirely at a loss, I have tried:. I don't have a password on my laptop as it's in my house and I only use it for games, but this is very frustrating because it seems like I've followed all the steps correctly and there's been no result. I can't help but think that maybe the laptop was set up for a child originally, but it doesn't make sense to me that it would appear as though I had administrator power anyway.
